There are several ways to get to Sisaket from Bangkok:
By train:
The train from Bkk (Lumphong) station to Sisaket: There is
a train leaving every evening arount 8 P.M (night-train).
The tickets vary in price according to the class you wish to
travel in. We recommend 2nd class air or fan-sleeper
(500-600 Baht p.person). One of the most comfortable
ways to get to Sisaket by train. The train arrives in Sisaket
every morning around 7 A.M. Food can be ordered on the
train upon departure in Bkk, unfortunately no
coffee/breakfast in the morning before arriving in Sisaket.
From Sisaket train-station you could then walk, take a
motor-bike taxi or rent a car if there is one available (with
driver).
By Air:
Air Asia or Thai Airways to Ubon Ratchatani airport. You
can then rent a car at the airport or take a taxi to Ubon or
Sisaket. The distance from Ubon to Sisaket is about 70
km. A car with driver to bring you to Sisaket should not
cost you more than 800 Baht. Don't get fooled...
By bus:
VIP bus from Bkk to Sisaket. Its the :"Ubon-bus"! Don't
mistake Ubon and Udon, in the evening the busses can
look quite alike, their destinations will not....
By car:
Drive to Sisaket via Korat and Surin 600 km +
